Thermography and leakdetection

Arne Jensen AB has more than 50 years experience from detecting and localizing leakages on different types of pressurized systems. During the last 17 years we have localized some 7000 leakages in different water supply systems and district heating networks.

We work in close relation with our customers in different types of services, which could be: work in field, education, development of new techniques and equipment as well as selling of both hardware and software.

In our maintypes of work in the field of leak detection, we use several different techniques such as: listening, correlation, tracer gas, thermography and cable radar.

Arne Jensen AB is also working with thermography to scan entire district heating networks. Using thermography on a district heating network means scanning the network from the ground with a thermovision camera. Among other things we have produced a solution in which the thermovison camera is mounted on the roof of a vehicle and is controlled from special equipment inside the vehicle. About 25 to 35 km of pipes can be investigated during one night.
